Description Ok. I figure that people'd think that 'green ball' to be an ectoblast or something related to Danny's powers, so I'll say this first: That 'green ball' is actually a separate entity called a 'ghost guide'. A ghost guide is a weaker ghost that was an animal in when it was living. It can shift between it's animal form to it's ball form, but stays in it's ball form more often to conserve energy. If it gets too weak, tired, severely injured, etc it will go into it's.....'tamer's'- for lack of a better word- core and stay there until it has recovered. A ghost guide can converse with the ghost it's paired with telepathically and in some cases can speak like any normal human to anyone. A guide and it's 'tamer' have a special bond, and if separated can detect and locate each other from miles away. Being a weaker ghost, a guide can't help in fights...hardly at all. They can be very helpful and yet very annoying with their 'helpful hints'.

Of course, all of that is a concept I'm working on for a fanfic of mine- hence Danny's change of clothing design- so it might not all stick. I still need to do human Danny, Sam, Tucker, and possibly Jazz's clothes...

That background was a killer. Not so much the sky, but the stuff on the ground.

--
Danny is Butch's; revamped design, art, etc is mine.

Actually, I'm not familiar with The Legend of Zelda; I've just heard about it. So I wouldn't be able to answer that. xD'

Thanks<3

Oh, sorry. xD In some Zelda games, a fairy will follow you around and give you info. "HEY LISTEN" is often used to insult Navi from Ocarina of Time, you'll see lots of comics where Link does some sort of harm to her while she rambles "HEY LOOK LISTEN WATCH OUT BLUE!" xD

And no problem!

It's fine. ^^

Yeah, I guess they're kinda alike, only the ghost guide is more useful...maybe even less annoying in some cases... xD

rift-raft In reply to Phantomhowl [2011-02-02 02:32:45 +0000 UTC]

Trust me, all the fairies did was pretty much say "Good luck!" or "Here's the obvious weak point!". Sometimes, they'd flat-out tell you, "I don't really know how to kill this thing..." If ghost guides can even assist in battles, they're way more useful. xD

As a fan of Zelda,I recommend playing it if you like adventure games with a bit of puzzling and fighting thrown in. Ocarina of Time for N64 is considered by most to be best game ever, but the other games are pretty good as well. But fairies are ANNOYING!

I think you replied to the wrong person. xD I was/am the one telling her about the Zelda series.

BUT JEEZ, they are annoying! Especially Tattl! That stupid bell-noise she made drove me insane. But MM is still one of my favorites besides that.

He he, sorry. I'm still new to deviantART, and am still trying to figure everything out.

I totally wish that it was possible to kill the fairies in OoT and MM. The games are the best ever, it's just those godamn fairies!

Actually, I was looking at Zelda videos on Youtube, and came across a clip from Powerpuff Girls. The Mayor was playing Zelda, and killed Navi. Why can't Nintendo add that in to a game, huh?

Ahahaha, that looks nothing like the game, but I WANT IT TO HAPPEN. xD Seriously, wtf is Link doing?

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-02-23 01:21:44 +0000 UTC]

I don't know what Link's doing, but I do know that Navi is busy dying. Actually, looking at the video again, I don't think it's Navi. I think it's Tatl, which is even better

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-02-23 22:23:16 +0000 UTC]

Maybe Link was busy trying to kill himself before he realized he could just kill Navi?

I dunno, the fairy was talking. All Tatl did was make bell-noises. (I still cringe whenever I hear it...)

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think that Link's adventure was his way of trying to kill himself to get away from Navi, but failing.

Yeah, I mean, why else would he constantly jump into gaping holes in the ground, fight monsters, and so on? Must make him really hate the fairies that always bring him back to life. And then there's the Great Fairies...

Those things are the devil. The weird banshee-cry they make, the "I'm gonna rape you" expression, the huge errors in human anatomy....-shudder-
AND THEY LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE FAIRIES OF THE FOREST. ;-;

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-01 21:42:24 +0000 UTC]

They resemble Redeads more than fairies! I mean, near human sized, fearful scream, naked (or close too), the 'rape' thing, and they're both horrible beyond words. How the H*LL did OoT and MM get away with being rated E?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-02 22:40:09 +0000 UTC]

They probably sent a fairy along with the package as a 'gift', and then kindly threatened to 'give away' more 'gifts'. Dx

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-04 01:05:48 +0000 UTC]

I just hate Redeads so freaking much. Think about it, they moan, the scream paralyzes you, and then they ass-rape you, hum you, and bite your shoulder. Then, after you kill one, they all walk to that one and it's like a shitty way of showing that they're eating their own. It does make them easier to kill, though.

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-07 01:29:20 +0000 UTC]

I like to just hit them in the face until they pass out and then run past them lickity-split. xD I'm too scared of them to face them head-on. -wuss-

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-07 02:31:37 +0000 UTC]

wait a minute... redeads in OoT die if you hit them in the face? With what, arrows? Because if they do, THANK YOU! I slowly walk up behind them and slash like crazy until they die, but to kill them at a distance... wow.

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-07 03:08:32 +0000 UTC]

I just remember sniping like crazy. See, in video games, I'm that SUPER-ANNOYING person that hides in a glitchy spot and just shoots at people who comes past. xD I'm pretty sure they do pass out, though, but not die. It's a bit hard to remember since I haven't played the game in FOREVER.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-07 23:19:59 +0000 UTC]

Are we even talking about the same game here? Cause the game I'm talking about has, among other disturbing and freaky things, ass-raping zombies called redeads that will freeze when you play the Sun's Song (OoT) or dance when you wear certain masks (MM), and you can either kill them with a sword or Din's Fire in OoT. Then they fall to the ground and fade after a full minute, unlike other monsters that usually dissipate in bright blue or green fire.

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-07 23:31:55 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, we are. But sometimes they would get up...
I don't actually own the original, though. The OoTs that I've played have been in the multi-Zelda-game Gamecube disc and the Wii. Maybe it was altered?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-08 01:07:59 +0000 UTC]

I doubt it's altered, I've played the original N64, multi-Zelda game disk, and both original and master on the Master Quest disk for Gamecube and didn't see that. Maybe it was the ones that walked over and were 'eating' the dead one standing back up? Or maybe it's glitching because your TV's possessed and they're going to come out of the game and ass rape you to death.

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-09 22:07:27 +0000 UTC]

I think the latter's the possibility. We DO have a ghost in our house...and the TV lamps we buy have abnormally short lifespans....
HAUNTED GAME CREEPYPASTA?!

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-11 01:43:21 +0000 UTC]

Here's a tip in case you have to fight them then (this actually works in the game). Just walk really, really slow and they won't notice you. I swear, you can walk right in front of them, though it's best to hit them with a spin or jump attack from behind so they have to turn around before getting you in their sights and screaming

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-11 22:14:52 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, I knew about that. ^^ I just like to practice my bow and arrows on them, since they don't really move...it's the things that are huge, full of armor, and fast that are REALLY scary. D:

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-11 22:34:31 +0000 UTC]

Ohh, the Darknuts in Twilight Princess. Okay, anyway, just thought I'd let you know that if you ever want to defeat the Cave of Ordeals in the desert, there's three Darknuts on the last level you fight on(#49). Stand at the edge of the ledge and drop bombs or you WILL die.

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-13 14:44:03 +0000 UTC]

It's in the desert on the mesa where the warp portal is. The giant white block is the missing piece of the Bridge of Eldin, so warp it back, and the Cave is underneath. Also, there's a poe at the entrance at night after warping the bridge piece, and three more in the cave itself at different levels. You can only defeat the cave after getting all of the items, bottles, upgrades, etc.

I know, right? Seriously, for the games OoT, MM and TP I am a total and complete nerd (espicially OoT and MM), and sort of in WW and MC. Never played the rest, really, or didn't like it. I even watched the Zelda cartoon that they used to have (not the CDI one), and I think a small piece of my soul died when I did It was so bad. Yeah, soo focused.

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-14 23:00:09 +0000 UTC]

Not really. I tried it on GBA, but about one minute in I got bored and quit, and lost the game. On a slightly different topic, YAY FOR ZELDA FANGIRLS! WOOT!
Hang on, is it just me, or is Link in OoT probably gay? I mean, he has how many female friends compared to male? Saria, Ruto, Zelda, Impa, Nabooru, and Malon, and for guys... Darunia, a stalking owl and a Kokiri bully. Plus he has an earring and wears tights.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-14 23:03:46 +0000 UTC]

Aw, try it on the Super Nintendo or Gamecube pack. It's a really great game.

ZELDA FANGIRLS MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND, YO.

Hm, I'm not sure. Maybe he's just a player...or he is gay. o.o I know he has a crush on Saria in TP, but that's the only game where I've really heard of him openly 'liking' a girl.
But why would he try to save Princess Zelda all those times?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-15 02:19:45 +0000 UTC]

The girl in TP is named Ilia, and personally I think he was bff's with her, and as for Zelda, I think he wants boy advice. Besides, in OoT Zelda was disguised as a guy. specifically, Shiek, survivor of the Shiekah (seriously, couldn't they have put a little more effort into the name?), so maybe he doesn't really think of her as a 'her' anymore.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-15 19:38:47 +0000 UTC]

It's Ilia? DOH. -brainfart-
Well, Zelda is ALWAYS one to go to for advice. (/sarcasm)But yeah, I always thought it was strange of her to choose to be disguised as a MALE Shiekah. Why not just base Shiek's design off of that one lady?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-15 21:52:16 +0000 UTC]

You mean Impa? probably because Ganondork would never expect Princess Zelda, heir to the throne of Hyrule, dress as a male ninja that could be mistaken for a leper or something. The coverings are also probably to increase the whole 'ninja mystic', which Impa didn't have. Besides, Zelda does have the Triforce of Wisdom, and we know that Ganondork is powerful, while Link is brave (aka, stupid as hell), so it would make sense that Zelda would be wise. Until she revealed herself like, a couple hundred feet away from the King of Evil's castle. Wow, I'm such a dork, writing this much.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-15 22:11:04 +0000 UTC]

IMPAAA THAT'S IT. Sorry, haven't played OoT in a couple months.

And you're not a dork! It makes total sense! And the whole revelation thing was kinda dumb of her...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fanghur In reply to rift-raft [2011-03-16 00:30:42 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I am a dork. I haven't played in months either and I remember everything. I could even tell you Tingle's life story from MM and it's been, like, five months since I last heard it.
I always thought that Zelda was stupid, I mean, getting Link to get the stones, which enabled Ganondork to rule the world for 7 years, revealing herself, and, I mean, come on, Shiek the Shiekah? Oh, no, that's not obvious at all(sarcasm).

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rift-raft In reply to Fanghur [2011-03-16 18:12:56 +0000 UTC]

Aw, we're all dorks on the inside!
The only time I've ever seen Zelda smart is in Wind Waker, at the final battle. Not gonna give any spoilers, but she did come up with a neat plan. (And if you attack her, she attacks you back! xD)
