Of course I did a parody of The Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess ... I'm so obsessed with it. It's the best game I've ever played!!!
This is for a contest ... I worked my ass off trying to finish this, and I am somewhat satisfied with the result.

Alright! So this is for the Shinalai at the Movies competition where you can make your own movie poster for the Shinaali, or a parody of a movie or video game.
In Twilight Princess the main character is Link. And Link is versing Ganondorf. So in my parody I gave Adlai the role of Link and Darius the role of Ganondorf for obvious reasons - Adlai's the good guy and his only enemy is Darius, the bad guy.
And yes, I know Daila isn't alive any more (that's why she's all transparent and glowy) but she is just so princessly and on the refsheet it is stated that Adlai is devoted to Daila ... so I figured that it worked.
Speaking of refsheets, all of the characters were heavily referenced from their refsheets because I've never drawn a Shinalai before ... but they are really fun and beautiful! Especially Daila - doesn't she look so royal ... if you know what I mean?
Oh! And people were saying that they liked how Adlai's Shinalai eye and elven-humanoid eye alighned. This is based off a picture I once saw, but I can't find it.
In Twilight Princess, Link transforms from an elven-humanoid into a wolf ... I figured that Adlai should transform from a Shinalai into an elven-humanoid.
Oh, and I did a bit of research and Adlai's elven-humanoid form is based of someone in real life. Here's a clue: the Voice of Shinalai. If someone can guess, I'll give them a llama ... if I have already given you a llama, you get a cookie! Lucky you!

So, yeah, that's just about it. This was SO much fun to create and I don't mind too much if I don't place, though prizes are incredible. I'm just glad I got out of my artblock!
