"America, what are you doing inside?" England looked over his shoulder at the younger country, who was sitting on the couch. "It's Valentine's Day. You should be spending it with someone special." he said as he continued cooking lunch."I am." came America's voice, closer than before. England dropped the spatula, startled. Turning around he saw America smiling at him. "I'm spending it with someone very special."
With that, his former colony pulled him close and kissed him. At first England was confused and tried to pull away, but then he realized something. All those years with a broken heart had vanished from his mind. He gave in and kissed America back.

I'm having issues. Every time I try to go to the other model to pose it, the America pose changes to this weird squatting pose with his hair all over the place. I'm not sure what's going on or how to fix it.

Well I just tested it on three different models, none of which were America, and they pose just fine. It might be the model you're using. Or your version of MMD maybe. Can you screenshot it and show me?
Actually after looking at your profile page I might know the problem. What is nanoem? The poses were made for MMD. If you're trying them in another program then I can't help you. Though, why weren't you able to use the Hetalia models in MMD?

The MMD program I have is kind of a crappy version for Mac. MMDA12. However, I got it to work for Nanoem. I'm sorry I wasted your time, I truly am.Β

You might have to adjust the pose a bit depending on how tall your OC is.
