This was a big challenge to draw and I quickly found shiney metal a bugger to render

Hamilton is being a new Nigel Mansell beating other cars, while Button gained team's trust after the '09 championship and won 2 races in '10 (Australian and Chinese GPs).

I just did an illustration of Jensen Button in his team overalls, never mind shiny - the work we both had to do for sponsors was a nightmare!
Your piece turned out really well though - and I think you nailed the mirror surface on the cars!

Hehe thanks. The mirror surface was a real challenge, but I thibnk I got off lightly with the sponsors on this one, just a few Vodafone and a Johnny Walker

This is so cool. It really stands out.
The chrome of both McLaren's really give it that extra edge. The reflections on the helmet also work well to give it that more realistic look of the sun hitting the helmets.
Keep it up. This is one F1 fan that you have impressed!

The red bull was hard enough, next up was going to be the McLaren..... but I might switch to a Lotus instead (Green, not Black and Gold

I'm still learning with the surfaces, so I might do something a bit easier first....coz I'm a chicken
