Description Don't know how I missed this one before...

Recently found it, printed it at A3 size and was aghast when I realised it wasn't in my gallery yet.

That picture is so simple, yet so fuckingtastic....one of the best pics of the chrysler building I've ever seen.

Great shot! I think this could probably work rotated 180 degrees as well. Great tones and framing

PhantomPorks In reply to BrandonRechten [2006-08-30 06:41:04 +0000 UTC]

you're probably right about the rotation (just picked up the laptop and tried it ) but i still think this way is better... i like the slight confusion you get from seeing the building on its head. plus, this is the way i saw it initially...

thanks for the comment!

That's cool
I tried this sort of trick with a cardboard box camera once. It turned out great. Too bad I didn't have a subject that was any good

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PhantomPorks In reply to TheRealWazzar [2006-07-12 10:31:58 +0000 UTC]

cool - if a bit "done".
still, it was a rainy day, the puddle was there, we just come out the NY Public Library and I happened to see the shot as it you see it.

have you got the cardboard box camera image on dA?
would like to check that out...

I haven't yet taken a photo of the box or scanned the images yet
I'll probably submit it once I do.
