Amy opens her eyes again as she sees Sonic kneeling down facing her as he held a small white rose to Amy, his voice muted out, but Amy read what his lips said to her on that fateful day.
Sonic: "Emi Rozu, Daisuki." (Japanese translation: "Amy Rose, I love you.")

This is so sweet. 
I don't think the background needs a lot of detail in comics, but I think this would look even better if you'd spent a little more time colouring the scenery, perhaps with a sunset to add some ambient warmth to the picture, to compliment the emotions.
