Isn't this lovely

You create such compelling imagery, with such technical skill.   I'm so pleased you share your gems with us.

As usual you frame your work with a complementary pallet suggesting immediately the balance in your whimsical compositions of contentment in the moment.  A real life lesson - living and enjoying the NOW.

I must say this subject pulls especially at my heart.  Jaq would - as you've depicted - sit by my side for hours - content on being in my company.  Such wonderful memories of such a good friend.

I'm happy to know you like it, Carole, especially since I was thinking of you and Jaq when I was working on the picture.

I've found what I often enjoy the most is the relaxation that comes with working on a border - once I no longer have to be making the evaluations and decisions about the main image.

Heartaches seem to grow more common as time goes by (or as we appear to move through time - not sure how that works). I just remembered a cool remark I found today after reading a scientific article:

When physicists speculate wildly about things no one can see, touch or even test, it's called science. When amateurs do the same thing, they're called crackpots.
