Finally got to the end of this series today and the big explanation. It's rather similar to the Doctor Who episodes Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. If you haven't seen them they're together a two-part episode that focuses on a planet-sized library called The Library that was initially built as a virtual reality crypt, basically, by the wealthy family of a girl named Charlotte Abigail Lux who suffered from a terminal illness. So her family built the Library and at the very core of the planet they built the mainframe for the planet wide computer system, and used CAL (as they called her) as the basis for it so that she could live forever in cyberspace with access to every book ever written.

But then the planet was opened to the public as the biggest library in history and CAL's systems began to become corrupted from overuse, culminating when an outbreak of microscopic flesh-eating parasites caused the entire occupancy of the planet at the time to try and use the planet's teleporters to escape, but ultimately overloaded the CAL system and became trapped.


Anyways yeah, the plot is different, but the concept of a young girl being used as the basis for a planet-wide computer system is similar. As to your drawing of it... looks good. Phryne has no nose. Can't really say much more.

La verdad es que no conozco los personajes en los que te has basado, pero están muy bien! Quizá le pondría nariz a la de la derecha, la cara le queda un poco vacía, pero solo es una opinión.
