I know the leaks look pretty legit now but they are not confirmed, and the last one just made me a bit unconfertable, the whole "dead" scene.

So happy they confirmed these as the final starter evolutions! They look so AWESOME, but I do have a nitpick of how I wish Popplio's evolution line was a bit more...unisex.

I'm pretty sure they did confirm them. Maybe not officially in CoroCoro but I did hear the leaked art was eventually revealed to be authentic. Popplio's evolutions are really pretty but I'm not sure it works well for a MALE Popplio as it does for a female Popplio. I heard about split evolutions for the starters at one point but there's a lot of conflicting sources arguing it; I'd certainly welcome the idea as something super creative that we've never seen with starters before and it might be a neat idea, but it seems unlikely.

Well, its still up in the air i mean they aren't confirmed but I hope they are the final evolutions for the starters. They seem Legit.

I thought I heard somewhere that they did come out and confirm the Chinese leaks. It's getting down to the wire here and, unless proven otherwise, we have to assume that ANYTHING that comes up is legit: still no fossils, still no Mashadow, still no Island Guardians (other than Tapu Koko, but that was months ago and you'd think we'd hear SOMETHING about the other 3), and they haven't even revealed half the Z-Moves. It feels like they're showing way too much of their hand this time around (or, at least, trying to trick us into thinking their whole hand is out when their real cards are under the table). Still, it seems pretty apparent we're getting at LEAST 100 new Pokemon (my biggest concern) and I just hope that we might get new cross-gen evolutions (something we haven't seen since Gen4, not counting Sylveon)--and I don't think the Alola Forms count because that's basically the same as the Delta Pokemon from the card game but with new designs; cool, yes, but not the same thing as--say--Farfetch'd evolving into something new.
