Papermache Deku mask.-Started with a few layers of paper mache on a balloon
-pulled off and trimmed neatly
-cut the mouth and eyes with an exacto-knife
-made the mouth with a paper cup, a thick application of paper layers for the rim, and fit inside the hole I previously cut out
-painted like wood
-added the back strap and leaves
-hot glued fabric on the inside. Β
The fabric is stretched in such a way that it can be seen through while wearing the mask, well as long as there is enough light. Β Makes a fun wall piece anyway.

There are 24 masks, but only four are the kind that transform you into other things. (and go and play it then!)

This one turned out well enough that I might try to make the goron and zora masks, or even Majora's, those won't be as easy I'm sure. Β First paper mache I've done since the third grade.
