So i am going to post this on Deviant art,all around, to try and get peoples opinions on it what they have to say(and i do mean EVERYWHERE)I would like peoples opinions on the subject I have put some thought into this subject for many years.Does one person really count. You can probably guess what I am about to say. Does it matter?
I have been looking at many pictures/videos/live streams/and many more. seeing thousands ten thousands and millions of views/comments, and i look...does my 1 view comment and subscription(you tube) really matter to this person, does the comment even get read, or am i just another person to make them ever lasting popular. I looked at a picture where this guy has 6,000 messages(on DA) ,does he really look at all them messages honestly, or do they just blow them off(because I don't even look at all my picture messages)
on the other end i have watched videos to hear that ''it does matter,we read them all'' / ''it really helps when you comment so i can hear what you have to say'' but do they honestly do,,the more popular they get the harder it may be.
so am i just wasting my time writing this? I am not so popular, why would this even matter..i would love for people to expand on my idea
who will respond?.....i will be posting to random ''popular'' pictures/groups/and maybe just peoples profiles to get a wide range of peoples thoughts on this subject.

I think if you joing DA you join for the community and the opinions you can recieve. Each comment matters because even if the artist does not get back to you immediatly I know from at least my social circle, (since somehow it compramises of mainly atists) praise and adivce is priceless. It is impossible to judge your own work, we are too critical or we arn't harsh enough, outside influences make us better writers, painters, poets, whatever we choose to do, those who comment help us improve. Maybe if you comment on the artwork which has loads of DA members flocking to it in the first place, it may become lost in the mix, but there is always the chance that artist will see it and still feel the same excitment amatures feel when they see a comment notification on that drop down list.
Popularity doesn't matter, personally I feel that my own writing, I don't care who reads it, as long as they get something out of it I'm happy, and if they want to share that with me, I'm eternally grateful they have taken the time. And I'm sure other artists would agree with me.

oh i personally agree with you, people are to cirtical of their own work,including me,i find myself thinking im only above average compared to everyone i see on DA but on the other side everyone is telling me im wounderful like im the best thing ever.. but yes like you said ''amatures feel when they see on a comment'' i dont get completly excited but it makes me happy to hear from people and or make a nice conversation from a stressfull day :]

See personally my writing is something that I have never understood, I'm told that I can do something others can't by people like my parents and friends but because I've always been scribbling down stories so to me its just another page of ink that my mind has wandered over. I very rarely can judge it, I generally write though partly because I just do, I mean seriously accidentally, or I write in the hope I can create something that others will enjoy.
