I too am curious as to why a British Cadet is wearing Auscam and holding a Steyr. Isn't hard to tell that it is a Steyr and not an SA80.
Is a good photo, but i am suspecting that it isn't actually taken by you.

I love this one. I think a lot of people who join don't realize what awaits them. I enjoy my Army life, but tire of those who whine about getting dirty.

Hey, when I saw it just then, I immediately thought "That's Auscam!"
I can't tell the difference between our boots and those of, say, the US Marines. Haven't really looked.
Can't tell it's a Steyr myself, but I'm glad I'm not the only one seening "Australian" written on this.

One of my mates was sure he'd seen this photo before in in Australian Army Mag to... So something is a little dodge... But am sure if you check out the rest of this guys gallery you can make your own mind up as to whether it's really his photo or not....

I'm with you. It's certainly uncharacteristic.
It's nothing like his other stuff. Mostly lacklustre drawings, the few which are photos are clearly British, and without much evidence of compositional or technical ability.
Dishonest as it probably is, it's a nice picture.
I'll save it to my computer (just because), but I'm not favouriting it! Ever!

G'day mate love the shot, but you got one thing wrong. it's an australian cadet or indeed permanent adf (australian defence force )member. you can tell by the auscam pants (which shuold be bloused higher lol), the tan boots are adf issue from about 5 yrs ago, so he's prolly army cadet. plus the rifle is an F-88 Austeyr (you can tell by the scope, the fact that the foregrip is clipped up and the approx length). lol how do i know all this? i'm in the adf

Really great pic. I love the reflextion. Have you thought about turning the picture upside down and seeing it that way? It might give a little better perspective. Just a suggestion ^_^
