So far, I don't have to obtain permission from Hasbro because this is a HUGE change from My Little Pony:ο»Ώ Friendship is Magic. I am basically all set for them on the Parody front, as I am really changing the setting, story-genre and completely new, (for the MLP stand-point) script. I need MORE than just word-changes in script as that CAN be denied. In 2007, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals denied a fair use defense in the Dr. Seuss Enterprises Vs. Penguin Books case. They foundο»Ώ that a satire of the O.J. Simpson murder trial and parody of The Cat in the Hat had infringed upon the children's book because it did not provide a commentary function upon that work.
That is how Parodies are protected; they are not a direct rip of script with minor changes. Insight is needed. I still need to try to contact Robert Kirkman :/

yeah well for steam their good with usung sounds since most are enhanced or commonly used.
