Description
It's been a while since I've made a pair of earrings, then one day this design came to mind and I could not resist the urge to make them tangible. The wirework design and overall color scheme is based on a stylized version of cumulus cloud formations, complete with delicate chain precipitation. No wire jigs were used in the creation of this piece; it was purely created by hand and pliers. This is kind of neat. A friend gave me some glass hummingbird beads that he made. When I put them on a traditional pin dangle they looked like insects stuck in a bug collection. I have since visualized them in a silver swirl. I will carry out the design (at least on paper) Thanx for the inspiration - helping me focus.
