Lets all hop onto the mini-plush bandwagon!
Actually, I made this dude wayyyy back in the summer, but just never posted him. 
Mini Gaara is 6" tall... I wanted to make plush keychains, but I think 6" is too big...so I'm working on making him smaller, but I failed to have enough time, so I'm just submitting this as is.
Just a few random questions:
1. What's your preferred plushie size?
2. Who's your fave character(s) of all times, that you'd really like plushified?
3. Would you buy plush keychains, or do you prefer them as plushies?

(I no longer own any of my 15" plushies, so I couldn't take the pic with all three sizes together!)
On a final note, mini Gaara is up for grabs. He's 15$, which includes standard shipping in Canada/USA. I'll only accept paypal. Note me if you're interested!

How do you manage to make your plushies stand on their own?

They're actually not all free-standing! (I usually prop a palette knife in their back during the photoshoot) But for the ones that are free-standing, it's because all their body parts align with their center of gravity; it's just a matter of designing the pattern.

Aww! Gaara is too adorable, I want to pinch his cheeks. Your plushies are so adorable, I've been wanting to make myself a Zack Fair one but I failed completely...lol. Hmm! Maybe I'll try again..hehehe.

That mini Gaara is amazing! I know you were looking to use that pattern as a key chain, but I think it would sell fabulously as is.
Speaking of which, I know even though your commission status is closed, if a person were to commission you for a plushie is that particular type available? I checked out your commission info page and sadly that size wasn't up.
I know the Gaara plush sold for 15$ but I would pay at least double that.
So uhh... to reiterate, hypothetically speaking that is, would a person be able to commission a character of their choosing in that particular plushie style?

I'd take special requests (i.e. characters in any size/style), but the price becomes really varied, so that's why I didn't mention it on my standard commission info. So the answer to your question is yes.

This is one of the cutest smaller-sized plushies I've seen! Absolutely adorable. And you still put in so much detail--his clothing looks great!
To answer your questions, I guess I like the standard size plushies the best, though I am very fond of minis. As a matter of fact, if I could get my hands on several minis of Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho and Kagome from Inuyasha, I would be a very happy girl! ^_~ Those two are my favorite male and female characters. and I definitely prefer just a plushie doll to a keychain one.

lol, my commission info is under construction, but it should be up some time next week! I'll be opening some slots on december 1st, and I'll totally be open to making some mini-plushies.

As for the questions:
1. Around 10'' and up. A variety is fun though, (lotsa small, a few large for the hardcore)
2. Don't know - anyone you do comes out pretty spectacular.
3. You could maybe test run a few keychains, but stick with the plushies. People are more willing to think of them as a bigger investment. I'm not sure how much effort would go into a keychain compared to what people think they're worth.

You sure have a point! Most people won't spend 10$ for a keychain... and they still take a while to make, so I can't charge anything lower. I think I'll stick to plushies; and make keychains of other things.

1. I like little plushies, because the smaller they are, the more chibified in style they usually end up being, which is always a good thing. ^^ But, I tend to plush on the large side, so anything between 9"- 16" is my preferred size for plushies.
2. That's a tough one, because I think I've plushified all my major favorites so far.
3. Yes I would. ^^ I probably wouldn't use them as keychains, because they'd be a little too clunky, but I'd definitely hang them around my room. Maybe instead of keychains, they could be plushie ornaments? ^-^

1. I like plushies that are big enough to hug, so the 11'' and 15'' are probably my favorites. That being said little ones are cute too, especially for keychains, and more popular because they're cheaper.
2. ??? I don't know... I'm trying to figure out who to make next myself.
3. Key chains are cool, but you really only need one. But you can never have to many plushies!

1. I like big plushies, like 15 inches, and then very small ones (6 inch) that you can collect in plushie armies 8D
2. Yukito or Misuzu from AIR, or anyone from higurashi (when they cry).
3. I would love to buy plush keychains~ I'd actually prefer them as mini plush, without the keychain...

I love plushies In all different sizes, probably because I've made them myself from as small as 4 inches to 16 inches.
Some characters to Plush....I really like all the characters from Tsubasa Chronicles and Cardcaptor sakura... Himeno Awiyuki from Pretear is cute too.

I would buy plushies on "keychains" (or other attaching thing) to put on my bag. I think 6" is a good size for that, actually. And you can get more details this way than if it were smaller.

I like plushies in all sizes. I would buy plush keychains, yes--big ones the better. I tend to lose keys. I prefer plushes but yeah, I would buy keychains for sure.
My favorite size is about barbie size--12 '' but for yours I like bigger because you put so much detail into them.
