For some cactus they bloom only once every 2 or 3 years
The one in the picture blooms every spring.
wow... Wouldn't want to try glueing anything on a cactus as that would lead to a lot of cactus needles in your hand

I collect cactus in my area. Sort of "natural" barbwire.
