Description Another butterfly. It's deliberately warm, that's not a white balance error. Comments etc appreciated.

Wonderful shot! The colors are beautiful, and the bokeh background really adds to the impact. Doesn;t hurt that the butterfly is gorgeous, too

I like the warm WB. Works good in this kind of photos. I guess it's just a little bit underexposed for my taste...but like I said, it's a matter of personal taste. I still like it, though . Nice catch

Thanks very much Doesn't look underexposed here but it's entirely possible I have my monitor set too bright as a couple of people have said that now. Might look into recalibrating it!

My monitor isn't well calibrated either, so it might be a problem here

The butterfly's wings look like leaves. Even though it has a really warm feel, this picture reminds me of autumn.

Magnificent photograph!

The focus is so sharp and brilliant, but the bokeh is definitely my favorite part : ) I have to ask you what lens you used...

My only criticism is that the exposure isn't entirely even. There may even be a shadow issue, although it's not that bad. Did you use a ring flash or flash extender?

Thanks for the kind comments, the lens was a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. No flash, just natural light.
