Description The following was used to create this piece:

Pencil
Prismacolor Pencils
Copic Marker
Purple Sponged Srapbooking Paper

I guess some maybe wondering about the title? I mainly did the drawing to test how well the paper would hold up to my art supplies. It wasn't meant to be anything fancy and after working on the Leopard Gecko for a couple hours, I posted the results on my personal Livejournal.

Many on my f-list thought it was a photo of one of my actual Leopard Geckos at first glance, until they read what I wrote. After a lot of encouraging words, I decided to work on the piece a little more. The problem, well the photo I was using only showed so much of the Leopard Gecko's body, so I had to wing it sort of speak.

The short explanation...this drawing wasn't meant to exist, some of my online friends thought it was a photo at first and part of the Gecko is made up. Hence the title...

My resource was a photo on the cover of Ron Tremper's book entitled, "Leopard Geckos The Next Generations." My drawing does not match it exactly. Again this was mainly a test piece, so I didn't take drawing this piece seriously.
