the good: fire looks awesome, as well as all light effects
the bad: too much emptiness. im guessing you started in photoshop with a smaller size, then blew it up a bit. maybe you could add something on the left side, a piece flying off or a planet or something.
the right side is interestingly detailed. i like the overall style; could you make gauntlet v2?

It was orginally meant to be a object going through a tunnel while being attacked.. but it seems to be something different every time i look at it heh.

almost looks like a satellite dish being torn apart by chain lightning or some shit. Heheh..thats the first thing i thought when i saw it. Which is usually what i try and base my comments on. And its dark, with its light tones, but mostly dark. So thats always a plus with me. Nice piece, always nice to see sumthin from ya bro, keep it up.

I like it. Very nice... Though visually it's a little bit too much. I had a trouble telling exactly what it was, and I could only pick out certain parts of it. There are the parts of it where there are just simply too much for the mind, and I still can't figure it all out. It looks like there's too much visually in that one part of the image, and too little in the other parts... maybe if you spread it out? I dunno, not really much for digital stuff like this, cant' make and can't comment very well. I tried
