Description Happy Star Wars day!
Galen Marek/Starkiller in Rebels is something I really hope to get, but it's highly unlikely I suppose.

Fijne Star Wars day!
Ik hoop echt dat Galen Marek/Starkiller in Rebels komt, maar 't zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet gebeuren vermoed ik.

Well when I was looking at the Star Wars canon and legends stuff earlier, it doesn't seem like Star Wars The Force Unleashed is under either canon or legends. I believe it happened, since Galen Marek's death is what started the actual Alliance To Restore The Republic, whereas the rebellion in Rebels was just one of many small networks of Rebel activity. It's true, I looked it up.

Oh and by the way, the Starkiller clone had two lightsabers. Galen Marek only had one.

I thought anything that was published before Disney took over Star Wars fel under Legends. Can I ask you were you got that information? Now I'm curious

And yeah, I didn't play Force Unleashed II, I assumed the clone was also Galen Marek in name.

Well on Wookiepedia (Star Wars wiki), most of the Star Wars material is broken up into two groups: Canon and Legends. I looked under The Force Unleashed and it seems like it wasn't under any category, as none of them were on the page.

That and the Rebel network on Lothal wasn't a formal rebellion, but one of a few small Rebel networks that acted independently across the galaxy. Even the characters in the final episode of Rebels Season 1 just found out they were in a Rebel cell.

Hmm, the page for the whole The Force Unleashed multimedia project has a 'Legends' in the upper right hand corner though?

But you're right about the other thing. I actually didn't know the details about this, but I just looked it up after you mentioned it: at the moment Ezra and the rest are part of the Rebel Network (a working organisation already, that's why I assumed it was the Alliance) as a rebel cell, but the actual Alliance to restore the Republic isn't created yet. This could indeed mean that the Alliance is only created with Galen Marek (if they return him to the canon). Still a little sceptical about it, as they are focussing on creating new stories. But more hopeful, thanks

Yea, but I doubt that they retconned The Force Unleashed since I was just watching a video about the Rebellion. In the video, they mentioned Galen Marek's whole adventure and eventual martyrdom, so it may have still happened. Also, I learned that the Legends brand on the EU is only incorrect in particular points of contradiction. The site even says it right here:

"In the absence of such ad hoc solutions, the EU is considered incorrect only on the particular points of contradiction." - starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_W…

So who knows? Maybe The Force Unleashed did happen.

Though I wouldn't mind if they got rid of The Force Unleashed II. Honestly, it was a fun game. But it was unnecessary. They already had the story of how the Rebellion started, so why make another game? If anything, it seemed like the developer's attempt to milk the hell out of the fame from the first game and see that a second game would gather anyone's interest.

Oh yeah! This is cool! Ahsoka Tano and Galen Marek; founders of the Rebel Alliance to Restore the Republic in two different timelines.

Well yeah, but what I really want to see is them meeting each other. I mean, they already changed the timing of the origin of the Rebel Alliance, so they could also put Galen Marek a few years back in my opinion. But again, that probably won't happen...
