You have a strange gift for blending the best of every generation's image for these guys into the best possible amalgam. Batman in particular.... you are the first and ONLY person who ever drew his blue costume and made it look bad as fuck.Β
Even Wonder Woman too! Instead of choosing between a skirt and a bikini "v", we get the best of both! Hooray for thigh plates!
My only critique is that... and this is just me.... i'd have given Aquaman a beard. Just something about beards and sea-faring men, seems right. lol

Awesome re-designs on the costumes man. Although I kinda agree with Holycrap1992 about Cyborg being in Justice League. Maybe it's becuz I'm an old school TEEN TITANS fan and not a huge New 52 fan. That being said, great work man

Really? I don't think he was unnecessarily crow-barred in at all - he's a character born out of technological advances, and brings a lot to the table; character-wise and story-wise. These characters and their stories are meant to reflect the issues and problems of modern day society, and who better than Cyborg? In this day and age, you can't really do anything without a computer, and we've all become so dependent on our devices. Cyborg, in my opinion, represents that issue. He's a GREAT addition to the team, and honestly it's not like Martian Manhunter has been abandoned. He's with the "Justice League of America" from what I understand. That's perfect! The Justice League's alien ambassador is Superman, and the Justice League of America's alien ambassador is Martian Manhunter

Isn't he supposed to start-out on the Titans and THEN graduate into the Justice League for the sake of, oh, I don't know, CHARACTER GROWTH?!?!?

Nope, that never happened. But what about this, man? He starts off with the Justice League, being mentored and trained by the greats, and later joins the Titans to lead them! That seems like a more natural progression to me (just a suggestion mind you). This is a new timeline though, so anything is possible. In the New 52, Vic Stone was never with the Titans, and his transformation into Cyborg was the result of an alien invasion that brought together the founding Justice League members. His character has been re-contextualized to fit the new timeline, and it can be a bit confusing, but seeing that he literally turns into Cyborg in the starting issues of Justice League, there is plenty of room for character growth. I'll also mention that it's a very "young" Justice League - meaning they were band together for the first time, at the end of the first volume. Case in point, it's a new world, new time, so throw all your preconceived notions of these characters out the window, and try to read these new stories with a fresh state of mind. If you can't, then...well, just go read the older comics. I recommend those from the late 70's and 80s! So awesome!

I actually like the take on Barry Allen. It's refreshing to see him trying to prove that Mr.West doesn't know s*it about Mr.Allen killing Nora and trying to figure out who did. Presumably Thawne. I also don't mind the fact that now Aquaman doesn't give a d**n about percieved lameness. What I don't like is the Superman take he's not supposed to be too dark, he's the optimistic guy, however they did say that the Superman we are used to did finally have a Superboy with Lois Lane. So i'm fine with that.Β

I love the trident that Aquaman has! I often fight with a spear in combat practice and the way the the points on the anterior prongs are barbed inward would be very functional in a fight to the finish, being able to catch internal organs and the spine for a thrust through the sternum much more effectively! And same for Wonder Woman's sword: Very Greco-Roman, in that it is designed for close-quarters combat and is very effect for both the single handed cut and thrust!

Not at all man, I love chubeto's work. Have you seen the rest of my gallery though? I'm sure you'll find something you like. It might just be that you don't agree with certain design decisions concerning the costumes, anatomy, and/or stylization with this particular illustration.

Okay, I like what you did with Wonder Woman and Batman, but for the love of God, use the Young Justice design for Martian Manhunter. Other than my hatred of most of J'onn's costumes, I think this picture is fan-fucking-tastic and I absolutely adore it.

The young justice/crisis on 2 earths design is the best one he's had, I like it so much that I put the black armor under his DCAU harness and shorts, even under his classic design from 1955.
