Description

This is another piece that was hiding in my old portfolio, painted in acrylic way back in '92. I really like jungles, and thought it would be a nice contrast with the red. I liked the idea so much I created another Blood Angels hunting in the jungle picture later. I like painting jungles and greenery The design of the marines was a reworking of the armour to be more like (then) modern armours that come out of GW's collaboration with MB (Space Crusade).

The picture has a fair bit of damage, and some pencil marks and overpainting where I was going to re-work some parts to sort out the proportions and make them more 'GW marine', but I changed my mind and stopped.
