Description The Line it is Drawn Number 256 and ideas for "new jobs for superheroes using their powers in new and interesting ways." Mine is based on the suggestion of Medusa as a hairdresser. Definite to nod to both Frenchie from "Grease" and John Romita Snr. After jack Kirby, I love Romita's rendition of Medusa; just look at the cover to The Amazing Spider-man no. 62.

This is great! I found it on tumblr and looked you up. Love the Romita Sr style look, and always been a fan of Medusa. Love it!

Thanks a lot for that CosmicBeholder! Apart from Kirby, Romita Sr was the other artist I associated with Medusa so I made a definite attempt at replicating his style. Thanks again for taking time out to comment

Very welcome! They are both legends. I was always more of a Buscema man, but recently really got into Kirby, and kinda want to look more into Romita Sr now. It's all great stuff.

Stunning Madam Medusa, aka Queen Medusa.  I will always call her Madam Medusa, as I grew up with the Fantastic Four comic back in the Silver Age.  How about an artwork where Medusa captures Susan Storm with her deadly red hair?  As Stan Lee used to say, Excelsior!

Thanks Blondfan! Was originally going to do this in a Kirby style of art but this was a week after I drew Sue the Stripper and I wanted to draw Medusa in a different style. Loved this character back in the original FF comics
