A first try with oil painting, a miniature seascape on card depicting stormy high seas and a tall ship heading to its doom? Well maybe not.. The main thing I noticed is the drying time is a lot longer with oil and cleaning the brushes is a pain vs say acrylics or watercolours. Perhaps in time oil painting will grow on me, we shall see.. Its all improvised anyway and perhaps has a certain quality to it so I decided to upload. You need to learn to walk before you can run after all..
