Description PLEASE LOOK AT FULL SIZE

The Estaris Lake is situated at 2560m. After a hour walk at more than 2000 meters you can reach in the national park of Ecrin a serie of oustanding lakes. This one is the most important one and is remarkable due to a lot of cotton grass.

The cotton grass was very beautiful this year. It is called Linaigrette in french and the scientific name is eriophorum.

I took the photo at the "Jumeau" Lake at the estaris in the hautes-alpes. It is near the sky station of Orcieres in the National Park of Ecrins
You have either a track of 2h or 4h walking to reach this lake
