One of my favorite characters in Sci-Fi history! An extremely complex and perplexing character ... one minute you see her as a complete uber-bitch ... cold and calculating ... and the next moment she being used and exploited and seems so small and insignificant ... you begin to feel very sorry for her ... but such is life in the imperial aristocracy!
The misunderstood would-be Bene-Gesserit, born to the Padishah Emperor at the end of the Corrino's 10,000 year reign!

Thanks so much, Kurt. I love so much how Irulan is interpreted in the Dune TV series. It reflects exactly the description that you give (the actress Julie Cox is terrific in that role) - a calculating and doomed character at the same time.
