I bought a new dress for Christie, and what a dress it is, so I decided to have her do a pose for me.
Christie: That's pretty much what we do here, dear.
True. But it's not often we use other settings for an introductory shoot though. Usually I just have the models be in front of the plain backdrop and have the painters change colours. Not so this time! With such a classy dress I thought we should break the budget and have a classy looking background to go with it.
Wardrobe Department: And yet you still pay me below minimum wage?!
Set design has its own budget. Wardrobe is over budget, so you're lucky you're getting paid at all.
Christie: Do we have enough for heating? I'm feeling a bit nippy I think I have goose bumps.
We're... struggling on that a bit.... Um, Christie?
Christie: Yes, dear?
Is that a knife?
Christie: It's my... letter opener....
You keep a letter opener in your garter?
Christie: You never know when there's a... letter opening emergency....
