Description Remus is one of my favorite characters in HP. However he pretty much sucks when hes being all emo. Seriously, just go home to your wife and child and stop being such a pansy. You tell him, Harry!

Amazing art! You captured the WHOLE scene just like I pictured it from the book. The coloring and details are fabulous. Thank you for drawing this and posting it for all the other fans! Your other works are wonderful too, but this is my favorite

I've had my moments where I thought Harry was a right prat, but not in this scene. He was pretty cruel about it, yes, but Remus *needed* to hear it. I adore the man, and can see entirely where he's coming from, and he's allowed to be scared because of it. But I think that was one of his fatal flaws...even though he had one of the most beautiful things in the world that could make a man happy, especially a man who's suffered like he has - a family and a woman who loves him to death despite what they've been through - he was still throwing up his damned walls with their scrawlings of "I'm not good enough", "I don't deserve this" and...you get the idea. And I can imagine that while Harry probably DIDN'T get all of it, he was probably pretty angry at Remus purely because of his fondness for Tonks, and the fact that she's still there for Remus.

The fact that Harry knows what it's like to not have your Dad in your life probably also got under his skin, too (and I get completely where he's coming from, eesh). Again, he was cruel, but Remus kind of needed someone to sock it to him. And he obviously came to his senses and agreed later on...the scene where he announces Teddy's birth and then glomps Harry and asks him to be Teddy's godfather, anyone? x3

Thank you for this thoughtful reply. This is truly one of Remus' most unlikable moments. I am so glad Harry was there to tell him to man up and go back to his loving family. Remus needed to understand that he was worthy of love too and we do not get to choose who gives us love.

Remus Lupin is one of my favorite characters as well, but I wanted to smack him when i read this part. I was happy that Harry told him off. Go Harry! Anyway this is very nicely done. Great job.

I know. Prisoner of Azkaban Lupin is so awesome. But he got so...weird and emotional in that last book. Like, I know you are a werewolf but how is it better exactly for your kid to have no father at all? The logic eludes me...

Thanks for the comment

it's a bit like gambling. be funny if it was. a massive board game, and Harry throws the dice, and WHAM! The forfeit card says 'Tell a friend to take a chill pill!' So the logical choice here would be Remus, coz he's so stressed about being a daddy!
I love dis!

i love this part of the book because it was pretty juicy for me and since everyone almost died as quick as you saw them it was a little highlight to get updates on how remus and tonks were doing, and i loved it that harry really socked it to remus, REMUS BAD BOY! You shouldnt let insecurities get the better of you!!!!! GO HOME!!!!!! (blushes for being a hypocrit XD)

Your art rocks i love everything that comes from you. *hugs*

Thanks so much! Your comment is really appreciated. I also love that part in the book. We just don't see enough of Remus and Tonks so I was glad she included this chapter.

yeah, same, and no problem ^^ I just wished it didnt have to end that way, its really not fair (i cried all week when i read it lol), i wanted them to grow old together lol i cant help but think remus's insecurities got the better of him...eh well, thanks for replying back ^^

I know...I didn't really think it was a satisfactory end to their story. The whole time Remus is trying to overcome his impulse to run from his family and in the end....he runs into battle, Tonks follows him to save him, and they both die. Where is the...character development?

I know i could have killed rowling. They went through all this stuff together and it amounted to nothing! Personally i dnt even think sirius should have died, theyre wasnt an actual reason, i think. I seriously think she has an overpowering taste for killing people off unescassarily *bad spelling* But she said she wanted to kill of parents at the end and since arther and molly are her favourits she killed off remus and tonks instead -_- I LOVE REMUS AND TONKS lol I cried for ages, and moped about it weeks after. Before that i dreamed of them having a kid/kids together *admittedly girls lol* and when i mean kids i dnt mean having a kid and them dieing more or less straight afterwards lol thats not what i had in mind.......... GGRRrrr. anyway its nice we can talk like this ^^

true true. I also was super bumed about sirius. Not to mention Hedwig. And Dobby! I cried so hard. A free Elf indeed. He was reallu the only death I understood...and Dumbledore. Dumbledore and Dobby at least died badass. Remus and Tonks got gyped big time. Also much terrible spelling abounds. Thank god for spell check in real life.

yh thank god for spell check lol What the hell was with hedwig dying, thats just bizarre, dumbledores death was a kick ass scene and i understood why he had to die, and most of the other characters like fred, mad eye and colin they died because, well its a war and people had to die lol. But if shes had kept the people that have been fighting for freedom alive, it would have made more of a statement for the story, like sirius, remus, tonks, dobby AND Hedwig -_-

More than anything, I love the expression you put on Harry's face. His eyes are really throwing daggers at Remus. But as I remember in the book, he was using "tough love" and some harsh words to get through to Remus of how important it was that he stick by his wife and soon-to-be child. That was a pretty tense scene for Harry and Remus, as they'd always gotten along so well in the previous books.
Great job on pulling their emotions from that chapter into your picture!

they had always gotten along well, hadn't they? I am glad they made up eventually when Teddy was born. It was fun to see Remus as the proud (and slightly innebriated, teheh) father.
