I've played both Conquest and Birthright and I have a question about this part of the game. Why did the dark song seem to have more of an effect on Garon than the light version. Normally, light is super effective against darkness. Sooo... wat?

Really? I thought it was the same. I mean, I didn't remember there was a difference with Garon's behavior. If so, I think Conquest Azura wanted to purify him at all cost, even if it means killing him. It's just how I feel about it, because Conquest song is more aggressive than Hoshido's one. I don't have any evidence or things like that, just guessing x)
