Description Think of this as a bright and wintery companion of 'The Dead DO Dance' picture I did. I wanted to go for bright pretty colours - and yes, I think I did go a little bit overboard. Oh well, hope you guys like it regradless and thank you as always for viewing and commenting if you do.

Yikes, I wasn't going for frightening - but she is a little otherworldly and I guess just because fae's are cute, doesn't mean they're good. Thanks so much and I'm glad you liked the colours. I did actually siften them a little from the original.

When I saw it at 3D C I whent wha, so gorgeous! ANd it really is! Love the softnes you got in her skin!
But a tip, the shadow on the snow is to sharp. A good way to make the shadows fit the background more is -when you do it- to lower the opasity and erase with a low opasity brush on the areas that are needed, like on some of the snowy parts, Behind the "hills" of the snow, that makes it look more realistic, and you dont get the sharpness. gah, hard to explain in text when its not my language
But anyway a gorgeous piece, I am adding you on my watch list just so you know

Thanks Drakenborg. I totally agree about the shadow, (and I understood you too! ) I started to change it a bit, but I didn't think to soften it; D'oh! I may revisit this pic again... And thanks so much for the watch.

Thanks. Well, the background was from a pack - (I'm such a cheat ,) but the foreground actually rendered that way, the hair and snowflakes I added on. Sometimes I use photoshop filetrs, but this time it didn't need it - everything just worked really nicely together.

Shhhh... I was hoping no-one would notice. I might revisit this picture, possibly depending on what rdna bring out with their freebies as I was thinking that sort of toonie look would go with this - if that does happen I will create some hair on the shadow.
