And here lies the end of Phoenirius' celebrity portraits.+
The main reason for my lack of portrait submissions' cause they just don't do it for me anymore, and without motivation, I simply can't produce them.
I hope you all understand, and know that I drew this for you guys. For the great number of you who have recently added me to their watch list, waiting out on more of these.
No I'm not leaving DA. The celebrity portraits are.
Well... here's the last of it's type. One last familiar face.
Based on Mena Suvari, not aimed to be a replica: [link] Scan was shit, so I made it darker - yet it still isn't as dark as the actual drawing.

The shading is impossible, especially the highlights on the nose, cheeks and lips. *jawdrop*
The hair is beautiful, eyes are detailed and deep and I really think you captured the overall expression.

The lips, the eye, the shading....oh wow this is just so phenomenally impressive! Such a beautiful drawing.
I just dicovered you and you're saying this is the last one....awwwww. No worries, though, I can totally understand when you say the amount of time that needs to be invested in order to complete illustrations such as this. Very time-consuming, but so rewarding in the end.
Don't mind me when I faviourite all your works - I look back at pieces like this to further enhance and educate my own skills (which is nowhere near this level....yet.)

To be honest with you (and I assume most already know), I don't actually like these drawings. I'd delete them all but keeping them up inspires others - making everyone else into better drawers.

Your work is utterly amazing. I'm serious. I've seen a lot of people's work, and though I'm usually in the anime section, I don't remember ever seeing someone your age sketch so well and realistically. Not in real life or in cyberworld. Kudos to you for your incredible works!

wow, may i ask how you did that since, if you lay that image over the scan in photoshop and auto scale the two together there is 0% deviation.
which means, either it is a photo in grayscale, or you are infact a printer.
