Well, I couldn't exactly justify wishing a Happy Christmas to Laura without drawing a few more pictures, so here's another.This is Nithran, Rurik's character - I've gone on strike and drawn him normally.

At first, I was going to ask you where all the scales had been drawing had gone. Then I enlarged the picture.
That's just got to be tough on your eyes, all of that meticulous detail. Looks wonderful, but that's got to be tough to do.

The scales tend to look much better on black-scaled dragons than other colours, but you're right, it can be hard! Though its not necessarily because of the fact they're small (as I can zoom in); more the fact that the motion of drawing them is repetitive and gets boring. But the end result is worth it!

Yes, duh. If you sit in a vivid sunset everything takes on a red hue, really I should have made his whole body a more reddish brown than black... but whatevers.
