A different look for Vritra but still quite pretty.   Aiyana meanwhile becomes a cabbage of envy in her corner.

Lol yeah. I hate how I did her hair though xD

Nuuu Aiyana is a cutie she shouldn't do that

The hair could use a little more shading but it's very nice for a more relaxed look. And envy is the nature of Aiyana.

Meh. I've never shaded her hair before, tbh. I just put random streaks of blue in it xD And thank you x3
And I know. But still. Vritra would always be more than happy to assure her that she's adorable and how she wished she had her figure xD

Shading hair can be quite relaxing, albeit tedious in my experience. Try it. There's a lot of cool light effects you can accomplish with shaded in dead skin cells.

Vritra is too sweet. Aiyana is just super silly sometimes in her envy.

Lol I'm sure. I just never know what to do with her hair since it's wavy/curly and I find it difficult xD

Pff nah. Only to her friends and people she likes. Others.... She tries to bite their heads off. Literally lD

Reference! References are your friends! Stare at a lot of reference images for wavy hair and really try to study where the darkest and lightest parts of the hair are. The only difference it has from straight hair is that it's just more textured so you have to break down the hair into parts and think of the hair as stringier ribbon finding your source of light and shading in parts according. Finding a good tutorial on this is proving rather difficult but I think this tutorial gives a relatively good idea of one way to approach shading wavy hair in traditional art.

And eep! Vritra is quite the viper, isn't she?
