Personality: Aaren is a confident young man that has trust issues, but he's generally a kind, gentle, and stoic man, loyal to fault once he trusts you.
Background: Born just north of Orham, Aaren was shunned from the village at an early age. The reasoning behind this is his trust toward his ex-dragon slayer father. When he turned ten, his father refused to let his only child go to the egg choosing ceremony, this was not a choice made without upsetting his son. After a year, a rather disappointed Aaren disobeyed his father’s orders, and chose to sneak to the choosing ceremony. Sure enough, in doing so he formed a bond with a particular egg: Pimia. Edgar was furious, and refused to see his son off when Aaren left for the academy. However, to Aaren’s surprise when he graduated, his father was sitting in the audience alongside the other parents. As Dragon slayer tradition he was given a full set of handcrafted dragon bone armor with a matching sword. Riders tend to avoid Aaren and generally don’t trust him due to his family history of dragon slaying.
