Name: Downy Snagret
Scientific Name: Shiropedes anacondii
Family: Snavian

This creature is a juvenile Burrowing Snagret, so rather than burrow like adults, it spends most of it's time on the surface actively searching for food. Like many young creatures, it will imprint on whatever it sees or hears nearby, but it'll only do so if what it sees it blue and tall, and it makes a specific sound. So fooling a newly hatched Snagret into believing something smaller than itself is its parent is impossible, save for extremely rare circumstances. Caution should be taken when approaching Downy Snagrets, for not only will they attack on sight, but the parents may be hiding nearby to protect their young.

Valkyra's comment: I often feel bad when I have to kill juveniles of any creature. Sure it's either me or them, but nothing should have it's life cut so short if it can be avoided.

Phoenix's comment: Bouncing around on that one foot must be awkward. No wonder the adults stay underground most of the time.
