The fairies twinkle and swirl around one another as the summer starts to come to a close. The little trails of magic they leave in their wake bursts with magnificent trailers of color and if you listen very closely you will hear the trill of their laughter. The summer is almost gone and the fairies dance in glee and excitement. The heat of their trails is reminiscent of the heat of the day yet the colors evoke a calm serenity and peace as they twirl one more time around the bright blades of grass. Finally, exhausted and with big smiles on their faces, they fly to my ears, cheeks, and forehead to give one last fairy kiss before they go to the realm of the Fae.
