I can't help but think the old one looks better, it's got a consistent manga style which unifies everything making it flow very nicely. The second (although a big improvement on colors and structure) Seems flat and inconsistent. Mostly because you put a lot of detail in the colors but the poses as eye catching; it feels flat. the poses are stiff and since all of the faces are lit, and all of the clothing is lit from in front of the figure, we can't find a light source which also makes it feel flat.
