Description Finally finished this. I kept putting this aside to get other stuff done. Used tracing paper to color and traced the sketch with pencil after the coloring was done. Scanning this takes away from how it really looks physically. It doesn't capture how it truly looks. I guess scanning color pencils are a bit tricky than other mediums. =/

Nice work!
You have a good perception of light and dark, that's really important when coloring
I think you could try to mix in more different colors though, for example you could choose warmer color for highlight and colder for shadows. Say you have an orange item, shade that with blue and highlight it with yellow!
This tutorial: [link] explains better what I mean

Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the tip. Although I do feel that highlighting with warm colors depends on what kind of lighting effect one is trying to emulate. In this case it would probably work out really well considering that the subjects could be outside on a warm sunny day, or could be under yellow light. In other cases like say if you are working on something that is night club related colors for highlighting could very well vary. Or if the theme is a moonlight theme in at a lake.

It is something to consider in the future when I get better at coloring with color pencils.

You're welcome
Of course, the lighting and mood needs to be taken into consideration, but I was mainly focusing on this one picture here when I said that. It also depends a lot how you combine the colors, sometimes what is originally red or blue may not be perceived that way when it's combined with other colors or layered. Just some ideas for experiments

Scanners tend to eat color pencils a bit for some reason.
