Description
Simba limped to Pride Rock where he met Mheetu, Taka and Sarafina."What happened?" Sarafina cried as she licked Simba's wounds.
Simba took a shuddering breath.
"A rogue. Nala and I were walking when he attacked. He was mad, crazed. Attacked Nala first. We tried to fight him off, but....he ended up grabbing Nala by the neck and....killed her."
Sarafina felt her eyes tear up. Another child was claimed...and she had failed to be there.
"I want to see." She said.
"You can't. After he killed her, the rogue knocked me unconscious and when I awoke, both he and Nala were gone."
"Come, we need to have Rafiki have a look at you."
Simba frowned. Rafiki was the healer and wise baboon and freind to the Pride.
Sarafina started to cry and Taka nudged her, lovingly. "We'll have a proper burial."
"My daughter is gone. My Nala! My gift!"
Mheetu bowed his head.
Another loss.
