WoooHoooo! Another stallion!

This is my Dutch Draft by the name of Karel. Karel is a dutch name meaning 'strong' (no kidding, he IS a draft horse afterall!) Anyhow a bit of information on the Dutch Draft breed before I go into his Stats.

Holland's heavy horse, the Dutch Draft is a comparitivly new breed, having been developed in 1918 from the Brabant, Belgian's draft breed. He is a massive horse and phenominally strong- he was intended as an agricultural breed and his stregnth is essential for working the heavy clay and sandy soil of the Netherlands, which would tire out lesser horses. Alrighty then, onto Karel's stats...

Statistics;
Height: 16.9hh
Colour: Chestnut
Eyes: warm honey
Markings: Black nose and thick black feathering (feathering has a slight curl) on all four legs. There is also a patch of thin feathering beneith his jaw that is a deep chocolate brown (he will pass on all dark feathering to any of his offspring).
Breed: Dutch Draft
Bloodlines: Stallion for stud. (no current offspring)
Disipline/ Personality: Karel, like most Dutch drafts is a friendly and willing 'work horse'. He has a kind temperment and willing nature that will drive him to work as hard as he can to plough a field or pull a stump from the ground. He has also been harnass trained so he may be hooked up to a carriage and pull for miles.
Age: 5 yrs.

*special notes on this stallion* Karel does not have a long flowy tail. Its actually a very short whisp of fluff the same color as his mane.

And no, in case you are going to ask, I did not make his neck too short. Dutch Drafts are bred to be 'stocky' so their necks are shorter than most standard drafts.
