For Christmas I got an Xbox360 and finally got my hands on Bioshock. I'm not much of a FPS fan, but this game truly became one of my favorites ever. It is so visually stunning, has a fantastic soundtrack, great voice acting, and a thoughtful storyline. All kinds of fantastic.So here's the first in a series of Bioshock pieces I want to do of the moments in the game that stuck out to me.
I suppose this was a somewhat speed painting, completed from start to finish in 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Okay, it's just speedy for me. Still not happy with the shadow, which was the most important part to me, but ah well.

I remember seeing this for the first time when I played the game. I was like, "WOW...WTF?" But it truly is one of the most memorable scenes from the first game that sticks out to me. I really like your work. I think the shadow is great. Gives you the feeling like she is fricken mental. Great job.

Am I the only one who felt upset for killing her? In fact, I feel bad for killing all the enemies in that game, mostly because they ARE just sick people who are confused and scared.

my friend has this game and he saw the exact same thing like this he told me what happened and he wondered why she didn't touch the baby but it turned out to e a gun

Aw it may have been a creepy seen but it was sad too. Even splicers have feelings. And splicers lost childeren to little sisters.

That was a weird and crazy part in the game...I was like,wtf? I though she was talking to a baby!but then i killed her becuz i was freaked out...anyways.. GREAT JOB!! LUVS IT!!

It sure does set the tone for the insanity, a bit more so than the fights that happen just before it. Citizens of Rapture have some serious issues.

OMG, I never thought anyone would draw this scene... when I first played, I didn't want to kill her because she was just talking to her baby... until I tried to pass her and realized she was pretty much just a crazy lady

Yeah, it's just such a striking image. It was hard to resist painting it. I did feel bad for that lady and her 'baby' so I tended to take her down as quickly as possible.
