Sooo close to being done with the series....I can taste it...*drool*

It tastes like strawberry mousse.

So, The Powers. They are the ones/what is being referred to whenever you hear someone in old-timey speak say "By the Powers, you're right!" (Such as Barbossa in PotC) These guys are pretty high up; they're third from the top, right after the Cherubim. The Lord's hosts, they bring order on "the pathways", and supposedly preside over demons; heavenly wardens.

While there are technically 6 powers, every attempt I did at drawing individual beings representing a Power just didn't turn out, so I decided to have one being embodying all 6--hence my fabulous many-armed angel here. Starting at the top and going clockwise: the sword represents Punitive Power; the scepter, Sovereign Power; the dove, Mercy; the harp, Creative Power; the chi roh, "divine logos," which I define as Divine Truth (as opposed to mythos, or falsehood); and the scales, Legislative or Judicial power.
