A Marbled Polecat, or at least it should be... I came across this animal in an encyclopedia i own and decided to draw it... It first started off as a doodle, but didn't turn out quite well since it looks different on photos I found on the internet after I drew it.... It looks so adorable and I may take another shot at drawing it.Here's how a marbled Polecat really looks like: [link]

Been good, it is hard to keep up with you, because of the time zone difference. I think it is like an eight hour difference between Colorado, USA and Croatia. So there is only a few moments when we r on at the same time. But i was thinking about doing a few (3) free commissions here on DA. Watch for a Jounal post on it. (tell all your friends too)

I'm good thanks... apart from my ankle still being sore. My dad had a good look at it this afternoon and he thinks there is more damage done than I first thought. If it doesn't get better soon, I'm not sure what he'll do. Just got to wait and see. But enough about me, how are you?

*Gasps* How did I not know these guys exist!? I have failed my Zoological background D: *Cries miserably* They're so pretty too, how could I miss them!? *Hugs a random polecat plushie* :[ Thank you for showing me these guys, I must learn random information about them... assuming they are not just a different colour to your... average polecats.
Hm... I haven't said anything about this drawing. Ahem, excuse me, having a little panic attack up there.
It's a nice little drawing, and I thought it an ermine when I first looked at it (didn't read the title) just because I expected that of you, but I recognised it as either a polecat or a ferret after a few seconds (still... not reading the title) so you didn't drop off the cliff there

And... and, the male marbled polecats change their coat colour during mating season (in the absence of a dominant male) so that could be why your polecat has different markings from the picture.
*Shrug* Or it was just a special variation. They're always fun. Deviating, eh? Eh? Gettit?
