Makitaku's Phoenixdex Entry

They look like ordinary, flat painted scrolls with unintelligible Unown script all over them, but these pokémon can actually partially free themselves from their paintings (as you see above). Their paint is indelible and their paper is tearproof, and even though they look like nothing more than thin sheets with a clawed dowel rod Makitaku are incredibly sturdy and hard to take down. They're also pretty damn smart, to boot.
