Osgrave, one of my favorite fakemon in... pretty much ever, really. This is one of those rare occasions when I feel like I've gotten everything nearly "perfect", the design, the style, the execution, the attitude... It just works, you know? For me, anyway. But that's all that matters. I want one ):
I designed it partially because "oh hey I should make an osprey Pokémon" hit me at random a few years ago and partially because I really wanted to see a truly fast water-type starter. They're all bulky, mediocre/slow, clunky, tanky battering rams, never svelte and quick like Sceptile, Infernape or Typhlosion. So I figure, hey... if Grass and Fire can have representatives that can move faster than 15 mph, why not Water? So I drew the pretty birdy up there and gave it base stats that would actually mix things up for a change: 80hp/112atk/70def/80sa/83sd/112spd. And it has fun moves, too. Think Staraptor meets Gyarados meets... more awesome stuff, I dunno.
It's basically a gryphon-shaped osprey thing that lives on cliffs by the sea. It can fly and swim exceptionally well, so it's a really popular Pokémon with explorers in addition to being an efficient hunter. If you're ever plagued by unsightly Magikarp, this is the guy you'll wanna call.
Pokémon is Nintendo's, Osgrave is mine and I WANT ONE.

I was about to say: Why is a gryphon a water type?! The design is cool! But that makes no sense!

Looks like he's stolen just about everything else, heh. There's even a watermark on one, though it's too blurry to read. It's actually kind of hilarious how he's chosen pretty low-quality versions of everything he took XD

Yeah, I had noticed that there were serveral completely different styles in all the stolen work.
I think he tried Pixeling over it so that on some level he could actually call it his, but even that was a bad attempt.

He might've done that for some, yeah. The osgrave picture he used is actually directly taken from an earlier version of this, though, as far as I can tell. The version on this card is... much improved.

Actually the first time i saw him i was not totally convinced for him to be watertype cause it's look quite different from other water starters...but the more i see it, the more i like it...
Then your description clarify things and add some new interesting detail, so..
