The view from the balcony of our 600 year old inn in Castlerotto Italy. Yes, the inn is THAT old! It was standing before Columbus sailed the ocean blue.It was unfortunate that we had so little time in Castlerotto as it was a wonderful little village, but alas the Italian trip was coming to a close by that time. This is a northern Italian town just outside the Alps and it had a distinctively different flavor than the southern towns that we'd spent the previous two weeks exploring. Castlerotto had a vary Bavarian feel that I found very appealing.

Unfortunately, by the time we got there we'd been traveling non-stop for two and a half weeks so I was pretty much ready to put the camera away for a while. Sadly that meant I didn't get any decent photos of the inn or the beautiful antiques inside. All the more reason to go back, right?
