Print available. Note me.

I grew up in MN and remember those storms. Wish I had a camera back then.

They're definately nicer to look at than experience. But they can make some nice subjects out of otherwise ordinary scenery.

The previous poster is right, there ARE alot of little details when you full view!

I love the stark contrast the black and white image provides. What a great image from our clothesline!

I'm glad our closeline can be useful for something, anyway.

Thank you! I'll need to balance it with a tropical beach photo.

This is a fantastic pic- makes me wish it was last summer again, so we could have snow... it's been much warmer than usual and I miss the cold.
Anyway, this is great. Somehow it all ties together very well, and the black and white creates a very wintry effect.
good work

From what I've read, 2007 is supposed to be the warmest year (average worldwide) on record. The records go back to the mid-1800s so I suppose that we won't see TOO much cold here. But, you never know what Mother Nature will throw at us.

Thank you for your kind words.

I'm amazed at how much detail is in the picture - when you click on full view, you can see so many little marks on the icicles...Looks great, make the most of the ice while you can!

Thank you so much! I'm planning to head back out in a little while and see what else I can capture. I wonder how much more ice we'll have after tonight's storm?
