does anyone know a way to fix an error im getting using this program with gimp? i keep receiving "Calling error for procedure 'gimp-drawable-has-alpha':
Procedure 'gimp-drawable-has-alpha' has been called with an invalid ID for argument 'drawable'. Most likely a plug-in is trying to work on a layer that doesn't exist any longer." but i know i'm doing everything else correctly?

Anyone knows if it works with Gimp 2.10? I'm trying to use it but it won't split the videos to frames. Help please

While it still works, many of the indicators have disappeared in the split videos into frames ui, mainly the checkboxes and arrows which is a pain in the ass. I recommend using GIMP 2.8 first to get used to the UI before moving to GIMP 2.10
as updates for GAP aren't coming anything soon, or, in the worst case, ever.Β

Json1224 you can see the indicators if you change the theme to "system" Β go to : edit>preference>theme Β and make the change there.

I'm 6 months late but better late than never rite?
GAP is not compulsory for GIMP to make .gif animations, however it does help. For my purpose, I use it to turn .mp4 into frames then export to .gif as I'm lazy and can't draw

Is there an actual version for this magnificient piece of software GIMP-GAP? That would be marvelous. And even more spectacular if there was a Windows version of it.

There is a possibility that it is missing icons or files. Search online for programs that will restore your files.

I have been clicking on the [link] to download the Gimp Animation Package but keep getting the following error message. I have checked the 3 suggestions provided and all seems well at my end. Any suggestions? I've been hoping to be able to create GIF files.

There is a deviantart download button on the right; either below share buttons or below commercial images.

Good, because it seems to have the latest update (2.8.16 from June 13th, 2016 as time of writing), which seems surprisingly hard to track...
Ah, warning, the download is 74 MB, so apparently it is Gimp + GAP, not only GAP. Not what I want, at least.
Looks like 2.8.16 is the version of Gimp, not sure yet there is a 2.8 version of GAP. andrewbonnington.blogspot.fr/2β¦ advises to use 2.6 on a 2.8 install.

This is awesome ^^ Really helpful! My only problem is getting the audio support to work. I can't seem to figure it out. Is it a plugin? A script? what? Also, I get a reaction when it's in the plugin file, it says it cannot find the files within the folder, yet I have them plain as day. Considering animating is easier with sound within the program, I would really like some help on the matter. I just don't know how to get the audio support to work and I can find nothing on it online....
