I learned a lot about post-processing with this image, I really hope I didn't go overboard....I was striving for perfection with striking detail...maybe I reached too high.

oh, I think is very good like that. we can do better, but sometimes we can let the things beeing like they are, for the eyes and the spirit. here I think it's a good "perfection", it touch the vision and the mind of the watcher . so ... it's good , simple ? no ?
