Very alluring. I take it your intention was to emulate 'those who must be kept', or Anne Rice's ancients in general, with the marble-like skin? Or was it just to direct attention towards the lips?

It's quite interesting how... blurry it is, in some places.
The lighting is brilliant. I really like how parts contrast with each other because of that. The way the blood is about to spill is quite cool, too.

I must say that I looked at the blurry areas because it was so blurry. =/
I think it's mainly the lighting and the colours that detract our attention away from the lips. I don't know if it's just me, but my eyes keep sliding to the cheek...
